Oxygen vs Freckle: the short answer

Choose OXYGEN if

  • You want to send where you enrich: Oxygen runs email with $4 inboxes and warm-up, where Freckle hands leads to Instantly or HeyReach.
  • You want LinkedIn steps in your sequences, in the cloud at $34 a month per account, without a separate LinkedIn tool.
  • You want signals at no extra cost: profile viewers, new followers and post reactions from your LinkedIn accounts can enroll a lead.
  • Your agent needs an MCP server and an API next to the CLI; we found neither documented for Freckle.

Choose Freckle if

  • Salesforce runs your pipeline: Freckle's Build plan reads and updates HubSpot and Salesforce records, with CRM sync at no extra charge.
  • Your security review asks for a SOC 2 Type II report, which Freckle shares on request through its trust center.
  • You want 40+ data providers on one credit balance, priced per enriched output with no action credits.
  • You want a free plan with unlimited seats and 250 credits to try waterfalls and AI columns, with no card.

Why switch from Freckle to Oxygen

Sending needs a separate sequencer

Freckle sends no email: its workflows push leads to sales engagement platforms such as Instantly and HeyReach, each on its own plan. Oxygen sends email itself, with inboxes at $4 a month including warm-up.

Across 14 criteria: OXYGEN ahead on 9 (tables, signals, deliverability, LinkedIn, sequences, workflows, AI, agency features, data access), Freckle ahead on 2 (CRM syncs, security), even on 3. How we compared

Lead data and signals: Oxygen vs Freckle

An Oxygen table of 18 leads with company, name, title, industry, employees, funding, a work email column and HQ
A lead list in an Oxygen table. The work email column runs the email waterfall on every row when you start it.

Where does Freckle get its lead data, and how does Oxygen's compare?

Even. Freckle's waterfalls draw on 40+ data providers on its own credits, Free included, and its rate card prices work emails from LeadMagic and Findymail at 0.28 and 0.45 credits per output; phones and your own keys need Build. Its pages give no count of email finders. Oxygen's waterfalls try 17 email and 13 phone providers and charge only on a hit.

Does Freckle have tables for building lead lists?

Oxygen leads by one part. Both build lists in tables with AI and enrichment columns, and Freckle's Build plan has unlimited rows, 500 on Free. We found no relations or lookups between Freckle tables. Oxygen's tables link tables, run formulas and hold up to 1,000,000 rows on the $49 plan.

Does Freckle track buying signals, and which does Oxygen capture?

Both can turn a signal into outreach, Freckle by adding the lead to a HeyReach campaign. Freckle's Build plan monitors hiring, job changes, funding and news, each check paid in credits. Oxygen also reads profile viewers, followers and post reactions from your LinkedIn accounts at no extra cost. See signals.

Email, LinkedIn and more channels: Oxygen vs Freckle

How does Freckle protect deliverability, and what does Oxygen include?

Freckle sends no email, so it has none of these parts: leads go to sales engagement platforms such as Instantly and HeyReach, which own warm-up, mailboxes and limits. Oxygen sends email itself, with Google and Microsoft inboxes at $4 a month, warm-up, placement tests, rotation, daily limits and a bounce pause. See mailboxes.

Does Freckle automate LinkedIn, and what does a sender cost?

No. Freckle's own example scrapes a competitor's post engagers through Apify, scores them, and adds ICP fits to a HeyReach campaign, which sends on its own plan. Oxygen runs visits, invites, messages, InMail, follows, likes and comments in the cloud at $34 a month per account, so 2 senders cost $73.70.

Can one Freckle sequence mix channels, and where do replies land?

No. Freckle hands leads to the sequencer you already run, so steps, tests and replies live there. Oxygen mixes email, LinkedIn and WhatsApp in one sequence, branches on lead data, tests up to 26 versions of a step and stops a lead who replies anywhere, with replies in one inbox. See how sequences work.

CRM and integrations: Oxygen vs Freckle

The Oxygen deals board with deals in Lead, In Progress, Won and Lost
Deals on the pipeline board, in the same workspace as the lists and the sequences.

Which CRMs does Freckle sync with, and which does Oxygen?

Freckle leads here. Its trust center calls it an enrichment platform for HubSpot and Salesforce users, and from Build it reads and updates CRM records, with CRM sync at no extra charge. Attio and Pipedrive were announced as coming soon. Oxygen syncs both ways with HubSpot, pushes to Attio, imports from Pipedrive and has no Salesforce sync. See the integrations page.

Can an agency run its clients in Freckle?

Oxygen leads. Freckle's partner program pays agencies a revenue share, invite-only Preferred partners get a discounted agency rate, and agencies reuse saved workflows across clients. We found no client workspaces, shared billing or per-client limits. Oxygen gives each client a workspace, bills them from one plan and caps each client's monthly credits.

Workflows and AI: Oxygen vs Freckle

Can Freckle automate work outside a sequence?

Both automate outside a sequence. Freckle has a workflow engine with saved, reusable workflows, webhooks on every plan, signal-driven runs and re-runs you review in the web app; we found no scheduled runs or approval steps. Oxygen's workflows run on schedules, webhooks and 77 workspace events, with approval steps and retries.

What can AI do in Freckle, and can coding agents drive it?

Freckle is built to be driven from Claude Code or Codex through its CLI, with AI and agent columns and research agents. We found no in-app assistant, MCP server, cited research or public API docs. Oxygen has all six: a web Copilot, AI columns, a research agent that cites its sources, an MCP server, a CLI and an API.

Pricing and security: Oxygen vs Freckle

How does Freckle pricing compare with Oxygen for a small team?

Freckle cannot run these setups by itself, so the table shows no Freckle price. Its Build plan starts at $99 a month for 1,000 credits, or $84 billed yearly, with unlimited seats, and a sequencer and a LinkedIn tool are separate bills. Oxygen is one plan per workspace from $49, sending included. See Oxygen pricing.

Is Freckle SOC 2 compliant, and is Oxygen?

Freckle is ahead. It has held SOC 2 Type II since March 2026, with the report on request through its trust center, and publishes a DPA and a subprocessor list. Its DPA maps controls to ISO 27001 without a certificate, and we found no SSO or status page. Oxygen publishes a DPA and a subprocessor list, with no SOC 2 report, SSO or status page.

Does Freckle have a free plan, and does Oxygen?

Both are free to start. Freckle's Free plan has 250 credits, 500 rows, unlimited seats, waterfalls and AI columns, with no card; phone numbers, signals and CRM sync need Build. Oxygen's free workspace includes 1,000 credits once, the CRM, tables and workflows. Sending needs a paid plan.

How do you get your data out of Freckle?

Oxygen leads. Freckle's terms let you download your data, and Supabase sync is on Enterprise; we found no CSV export, export API or SQL access on its pages. Oxygen has free CSV export, export through the API, read-only SQL over your workspace and the option to attach your own Postgres.

Switching from Freckle to Oxygen, or running both

Carries over

  • Records Freckle already wrote to HubSpot, which Oxygen syncs both ways.
  • Your own provider keys, used in Oxygen from the $99 plan.
  • Your Instantly, Smartlead, lemlist or HeyReach campaigns, which Oxygen can push leads into.

Rebuilt in Oxygen

  • Saved Freckle workflows, which you rebuild as Oxygen workflows or table columns.
  • Signal monitors and their history, which stay in Freckle.

Oxygen has no Freckle integration. The path both document runs through HubSpot: Freckle writes enriched records to HubSpot, and Oxygen syncs HubSpot both ways.

Oxygen vs Freckle FAQ

Can Freckle send emails or LinkedIn messages?

No. Freckle enriches and scores leads, then pushes them to sales engagement platforms such as Instantly and HeyReach, which do the sending. Its LinkedIn example scrapes post engagers through Apify and adds ICP fits to a HeyReach campaign. Oxygen sends email, LinkedIn and WhatsApp steps from its own sequences, with inboxes at $4 a month.

Which costs less, Freckle or Oxygen?

For enrichment alone, Freckle can: its Free plan is $0 with 250 credits, and Build starts at $99 a month for 1,000 credits with unlimited seats. Neither plan sends email or LinkedIn, so a sequencer and a LinkedIn tool come on top at their own prices. Oxygen costs $49 a month for 1 person on email and LinkedIn and $118.50 for 3, CRM included.

Is Freckle a Clay alternative?

That is how Freckle describes itself: a Clay alternative for GTM engineers who work in coding agents, with waterfalls across 40+ providers, AI and agent columns, signals and CRM sync, priced on outputs without action credits. Oxygen covers the same table work and adds sequences, one inbox and a CRM with deals.

Do Freckle and Oxygen work with Claude Code and Codex?

Yes. Freckle's CLI is its main surface: you describe an outcome in Claude Code or Codex and the agent builds the workflow, and its installer sets up skills for both. Oxygen has a CLI too, plus an MCP server, an API and a web Copilot that asks before sends and larger paid steps by default.

Is Freckle SOC 2 compliant?

Yes. Freckle has held SOC 2 Type II since March 4, 2026, audited by Advantage Partners, and customers can request the report through its trust center. Its DPA maps controls to ISO 27001 without a certificate. Oxygen has no SOC 2 report; it publishes a DPA and a subprocessor list.

Which CRMs does Freckle work with?

HubSpot and Salesforce, from the Build plan: Freckle's trust center calls it an enrichment platform for HubSpot and Salesforce users, and CRM sync carries no extra charge. Attio and Pipedrive were announced as coming soon. Oxygen syncs both ways with HubSpot, pushes to Attio and imports from Pipedrive, with no Salesforce sync.

Can I use Freckle and Oxygen together?

Yes, through HubSpot, though Oxygen has no Freckle integration. Freckle writes enriched records to HubSpot, and Oxygen syncs HubSpot both ways, so those records reach Oxygen's CRM. Both can also push leads into the same HeyReach or Instantly campaigns.

When is Freckle the better choice?

When your team keeps HubSpot or Salesforce and a sequencer, and wants enrichment and signals feeding them: Freckle syncs both CRMs from Build at no extra charge, has unlimited seats and a SOC 2 Type II report. For sending, LinkedIn, sequences and a CRM in one place, Oxygen leads.
