OxygenvsApollo

Apollo makes LinkedIn a to-do list. Oxygen sends the invites and messages.

In an Apollo sequence, a LinkedIn step is a task a rep completes by hand. In Oxygen the connected account sends invites and messages between the email steps on its own. Apollo's people and company search works inside Oxygen too, paid from your credits.

Which one fits

Choose Apollo if

  • You want one large database to search by hand: 240M+ contacts and 30M+ companies, with filters most sales teams know.
  • You need a free plan that already sends email: 75 credits per seat a month, sending from Gmail.
  • Calling is a big part of the job. Apollo's dialer records calls and adds AI call insights.
  • You pull contact data in bulk. Per record, Apollo's own credits cost less than the same data bought through Oxygen.

Choose Oxygen if

  • LinkedIn is in every sequence and nobody has time to click through tasks.
  • One database misses too many records. Oxygen's waterfalls ask one provider after another, from 30+, and stop at the first answer.
  • WhatsApp is one of your channels. Apollo's own pages list no WhatsApp steps.

Use Apollo's data without an Apollo seat

Apollo is one of Oxygen's managed data providers. Search its people and companies from a table, paid from your Oxygen credits. Company enrichment can also use Apollo as one step of a waterfall.

Questions

Does Apollo automate LinkedIn outreach?

No. Apollo's help center says it doesn't complete LinkedIn tasks for you, so a rep does each one. Oxygen sends LinkedIn invites and messages from the connected account, as steps in the same sequence as email and WhatsApp.

Can I use Apollo's data in Oxygen?

Yes. Apollo's people and company search is a managed provider in Oxygen, paid from your credits, so you don't need an Apollo seat for it.

Which is cheaper?

It depends on what you pay for. For contact data, Apollo: Basic includes 2,500 credits per seat for $49 a month billed yearly, and an email costs 1 credit. For a team that runs LinkedIn, Oxygen: Apollo charges per seat and still leaves the LinkedIn steps to people, while Oxygen charges per workspace and sends them.
