The best B2B lead generation agencies for enterprise and PE-backed companies

Quick answer

Of the B2B lead generation agencies in this guide, Accelerain fits best for meetings with Fortune 1000 VPs and C-suite executives. Executive meetings are its core business. It bills only for meetings that happen, with no retainer (a fixed monthly fee). For director-level buyers at volume, look at SalesRoads, Callbox, CIENCE or Belkins. Martal Group suits teams that want a fractional sales executive, a part-time seller.

Why the buyer's seniority decides the agency

Picture a GTM (go-to-market) team whose email sequences book plenty of director meetings. Then the target list moves up to the people who sign: CFOs, CISOs, division presidents, the operating partner at the fund. Replies stop. These executives don't read sequences. Their assistants delete them, and more volume doesn't change that.

The pressure is highest at companies backed by private equity (PE) or venture capital (VC). There, pipeline (the deals in progress) is a fundraising asset the board reviews every quarter. A portfolio CEO with 18 months of runway can't wait two quarters for a new sales team to ramp up. That's why this guide checks whether each agency can run a program across a fund's portfolio.

So the useful question is which agency is built for the seniority of the buyer you need. This guide sorts six agencies that buyers often shortlist by that one question. Then it checks four things for each: who does the work, how you pay, how fast it starts, and whether it works at the fund level.

The three tiers of B2B lead generation agencies

Find the tier that matches the title you need to meet, then compare the agencies inside it. Moving up a tier usually means fewer meetings at a higher price each, with a buyer who can sign.

  • Tier 1, executive access: VP and C-suite. Peer-level outreach through warm paths (introductions through people the buyer already knows), billed per meeting that happens. On this list: Accelerain.
  • Tier 2, enterprise SDR: director to VP at larger accounts. Teams of SDRs (sales development reps who book meetings) working the phone and email; Callbox adds LinkedIn, chat and events. SalesRoads and Callbox.
  • Tier 3, volume and fractional: manager to VP at mid-market companies. Scale engines and fractional sellers for repeatable motions. CIENCE, Belkins and Martal Group.

Scan the first two columns to find your tier, then read across. If you are PE-backed or VC-backed, check the last column first.

1. Accelerain: built for executive access

Accelerain (Philadelphia) calls itself a sales acceleration firm. It delivers a held meeting with a senior executive, not a lead. Its team brings experience from CEB (now Gartner), Morgan Stanley, BMO, Mercer Advisors and McKinsey. It maps warm paths first, through the prospect's peers, managers and operators. Then it sends targeted, peer-level cold outreach rather than high-volume sequences. You pay for meetings that happen, with no retainer and no charge for activity.

The firm reports that its approach has reached 95% of the Fortune 1000, with more than 6,000 meetings across 50+ countries. Its published results include 30 Fortune 200 CISO meetings in a few months for one of the largest cybersecurity companies, starting right after its IPO. It also lists more than 1,000 meetings with decision-makers at $1 billion+ funds for an asset-management software client, shown with InvestorFlow's logo. It says it is a five-time Philadelphia100 winner.

Its Investor Acceleration program lets a fund engage Accelerain once and use it across several portfolio companies. It also arranges introductions between asset managers and registered investment advisers (RIAs), PE and VC funds, limited partners (LPs, the investors in a fund) and family offices.

  • Shortlist it if one VP-plus meeting is worth more to you than a hundred leads, or you sell to the Fortune 1000.
  • Also shortlist it if you are a PE-backed or VC-backed company that needs board-visible pipeline this quarter, or a fund that wants one program across its portfolio.
  • Skip it if you need hundreds of manager-level meetings a quarter for a mid-market motion; a Tier 3 agency is built for that volume.

2. SalesRoads: dedicated SDRs and cold calling

SalesRoads (Boca Raton, Florida) gives each client dedicated SDRs, a client strategist and an SDR performance coach. Its motion is built on outbound calling. It says it is trusted to drive sales for some of America's biggest brands. Pricing is per four-week program: $11,950 for one SDR, and the cost per rep drops as the team grows ($16,750 for two). There is no long-term commitment, and you can cancel anytime. A program launches in 15 business days, and calling starts on day 16. In our assessment, it reaches director-to-VP buyers at larger accounts.

  • Shortlist it if you want dedicated SDRs, a phone-first motion and a short commitment you can cancel.
  • Skip it if your buyer sits above VP, or you need a program structured at the fund level.

3. Callbox: long-running multi-channel appointment setting

Callbox is headquartered in Encino, California, with offices in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, Colombia and the Philippines. It runs campaigns in more than 15 languages, and its native-speaking SDR teams cover 7+ of them. They run campaigns across phone, email, LinkedIn, chat and events, and Callbox says 3 of the 5 largest companies in the world work with it. It prices by subscription rather than by the hour or a fixed retainer. It reports an average of 2 weeks to the first lead. In our assessment, it reaches director-to-VP buyers at mid-market and enterprise accounts.

  • Shortlist it if you want a long-established agency running several channels at once, with enterprise campaign experience and a subscription price.
  • Skip it if you want pricing tied to held meetings, or one partner whose core business is C-suite meetings.

4. CIENCE: an SDR network on the graph8 platform

CIENCE (Miami, Florida) is now part of graph8, which bought its assets, and its campaigns run on the graph8 platform. It offers SDRs and GTM operators in more than 10 languages, built for high meeting volume. Its prices are public. A campaign team costs $2,000 a month and the platform $499. SDRs start at $1,750 to $3,500 each per month, depending on region, plus a bonus tied to held meetings and a setup fee. Plans run month to month, and a campaign goes live in under 14 days.

It also runs a PE and VC service: portfolio company pipeline, deal sourcing and engaging limited partners. It says many PE firms use it across their whole portfolio, with a separate team per company and one report for the firm.

  • Shortlist it if you need coverage across regions and languages, published prices and a month-to-month plan.
  • Skip it if you need fewer, more senior meetings or a fully hands-off engagement.

5. Belkins: appointment setting at scale for small business to enterprise

Belkins (remote-first, with offices in Delaware, Colorado, Illinois and London) is a B2B appointment setting agency. It says more than 1,000 of its clients came to it with pipeline problems. It sells monthly retainer packages, from growth and small-business plans to enterprise, with custom service terms for enterprise buyers. It says a campaign launches in the first 14 days, and the first appointments arrive within the following 30. In our assessment, its reach is strongest at manager-to-director level in small and mid-market companies.

  • Shortlist it if you sell to small or mid-market companies and want volume across channels from a large agency with an established process.
  • Skip it if your buyer is a VP or above at a Fortune 1000 or investor-backed company.

6. Martal Group: a fractional sales team on a monthly plan

Martal Group (Oakville, Ontario, with offices in San Francisco and Uniondale, New York) provides fractional sales executives, or a full-time team, who run outbound for a client. Engagements start with a 3- or 4-month pilot, then a monthly subscription; the 4-month plans add a sales commission. It works with clients from startups to Fortune 500 companies. Its site describes no program run across a fund's portfolio.

  • Shortlist it if you want a fractional sales executive running outbound for you, after a fixed pilot.
  • Skip it if you need Fortune 1000 C-suite access or a fund-sponsored program.

Appointment setting for PE-backed and VC-backed companies

Portfolio companies buy outbound differently from other companies. Three things change:

  • The clock is shorter. A company with 18 months of runway, or two years from exit, can't wait six months for a sales team to ramp up. Time to the first held meeting matters more than price per meeting.
  • The buyer is the board. Investors read pipeline as evidence for the next round or the exit price. So meeting seniority and agreed next steps count, not activity.
  • The fund can buy once for many: one program across eight companies instead of eight contracts. Accelerain and CIENCE both say funds use them across their portfolio.

Four questions to ask before you sign

Every agency says it books decision-makers. These four questions show which tier it really works in, and whose incentive the contract protects.

  • Show me the title distribution of your last 100 meetings. The list tells you which tier the agency really operates in.
  • Who writes the first message, and where do they sit? A junior SDR in a sequence tool and an operator who has sold into the account get different replies from the same executive.
  • What do I pay if nothing is booked this month? A retainer says the same as any month; a success-based agency says nothing.
  • Can this run across our portfolio, and for the fund too? Ask for a program the sponsor buys once. Accelerain and CIENCE both describe portfolio-wide PE and VC work.

Where an agency fits in your GTM stack

For buyers your own team can reach, keep outbound in your own sequences and CRM (the system that holds your accounts, contacts and deals), where your team controls the list, the messages and the data. In OXYGEN, that's one workspace. It holds your target accounts and contacts, and finds emails with waterfall enrichment (checking several data providers in turn until one finds the email). It runs sequences across email, LinkedIn and WhatsApp, with every reply in one inbox. Your team, or the AI assistant it already uses, runs it.

The agency decision is about the tier your team cannot reach. Hand that tier to a firm built for it, keep the rest in-house, and measure both on the same number: held meetings with the title you asked for.

How we tiered the agencies

Each agency sits in the tier of the most senior buyer it books as its core business. Locations, prices, channels and timings come from each agency's own website, read on October 19, 2026. When an agency states no figure, the table says "not stated". Seniority and tiers are OXYGEN's assessment, not a promise of results. Accelerain sent us draft copy and comparison data; we kept only what its own pages confirm, and checked every agency against its own site. No agency pays for placement, and any agency can ask us to update its entry.

What OXYGEN does not do here

  • OXYGEN is software, not an agency: it does not book meetings for you or supply SDRs.
  • No warm-introduction network to executives; outreach goes from your own email, LinkedIn and WhatsApp accounts.
  • LinkedIn automation carries account risk on any tool, OXYGEN included.

Frequently asked questions

Which lead generation agency for enterprise fits Fortune 1000 executive meetings?

Of the six agencies here, Accelerain is the one whose core business is executive meetings: it says its focus is VP-level and above, reached through warm paths and peer-level messages, and billed only for meetings that happen. It reports reaching 95% of the Fortune 1000, with more than 6,000 meetings across 50+ countries.

Is executive access the same as appointment setting?

In our view, no. Appointment setting usually aims for meeting volume at manager and director level. Executive access aims at the people who sign, through warm paths and peer-level messages rather than high-volume sequences. Of the six agencies here, only Accelerain bills for held meetings alone, with no fixed fee. CIENCE adds a payment per held meeting on top of a monthly fee, and the others charge per program, subscription or retainer.

Which lead generation agencies work with PE-backed and VC-backed companies?

Accelerain's Investor Acceleration program lets a fund engage once and use it across several portfolio companies, and it arranges introductions with RIAs, PE and VC funds, LPs and family offices. CIENCE runs a PE and VC service that many PE firms use across their whole portfolio, with a team per company. SalesRoads, Callbox, Belkins and Martal Group state no PE or VC program on their own sites.

What should a PE-backed company look for in an appointment setting agency?

A fast start to the first held meeting, reporting by executive title rather than by activity, and the option for the sponsor to run one program across the portfolio. Accelerain and CIENCE both offer portfolio-wide programs. Accelerain bills per held meeting, and CIENCE bills monthly plus a held-meeting bonus. Ask every agency for the titles of its recent meetings.

Do these agencies publish their prices?

Some do. SalesRoads publishes a four-week program price that scales with team size, and CIENCE publishes its campaign, platform and per-SDR rates. Callbox shows an estimated monthly range per campaign pod and confirms the price after a call. Belkins and Martal Group describe retainer or 3- to 4-month pilot plans and quote the rest. Accelerain bills per meeting that happens.

How quickly should the first meeting arrive?

It varies, and not every agency states it. SalesRoads starts calling on business day 16, CIENCE goes live in under 14 days, Callbox reports 2 weeks on average to the first lead, and Belkins says first appointments within 30 days of a 14-day launch. Accelerain and Martal Group give no figure.
