The best LinkedIn MCP servers for sales teams (2026)

LinkedIn publishes no MCP server, so every option here is third-party, and none removes the risk to your account: LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits bots that message people or add contacts. For a sales team in Claude, OXYGEN finds leads and runs LinkedIn in the cloud under daily limits, with an approval before a sequence starts, at $34 a month per account. HeyReach suits many senders, Unipile and Linked API suit builders, and Composio posts through LinkedIn's official API.

What is a LinkedIn MCP server, and what should you compare?

A LinkedIn MCP server lets an AI agent such as Claude or Codex search people, read profiles and the inbox, send invites and messages, or post. LinkedIn's own API opens only sign-in and posting to every developer; Sales Navigator data needs partner approval, there is no messaging permission, and LinkedIn's API terms forbid using the APIs to automate posting. So the servers below reach LinkedIn in one of four ways: the official API (posting only, as on Composio and Zapier), a session the vendor holds in its cloud, a browser on your own machine signed in as you, or a scraper that uses no account. Compare what each sends, how it connects, how it limits risk, who hosts it, and its price. LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits bots, scraping and automated methods that add contacts, and its help center says accounts using such tools risk restriction.

1.OXYGEN Agentic marketing and sales platform

Best for: Sales teams that want Claude to find prospects, draft messages and run LinkedIn next to email in one sequence, with approvals before sends.

OXYGEN runs LinkedIn in the cloud with no browser extension: profile visits, invites, messages, InMail, follows, likes and comments, at $34 a month per connected account. Your agent reaches it through the hosted MCP server at oxygen-agent.com/mcp or the CLI. It finds leads through data providers and free LinkedIn signals such as profile viewers and post reactions, writes drafts, and enrolls leads into a sequence. Enrolling never sends; starting a sequence needs an approval and a cap on live sends, and each account works within daily and weekly limits.

Strengths

  • Enrolling a lead never sends; a sequence starts only after an approval with a cap on live sends.
  • LinkedIn, email and WhatsApp steps share one sequence, and a reply on any channel stops the lead.
  • Profile viewers, new followers and post reactions from your accounts arrive as free signals a sequence can act on.

Watch out for

  • No proxy per LinkedIn account is included, and daily limits lower the risk to an account without removing it.
  • No contact database of its own: people searches run through data providers on credits.
Starts at
Free plan; paid from $49 a month, plus $34 a month per LinkedIn account
Pick it if
You want Claude to prospect and run LinkedIn outreach with an approval before anything sends, and replies on a CRM record.
Pick something else if
You want a raw LinkedIn API to build your own app on, or a proxy managed for each account.

2.HeyReach LinkedIn automation with an MCP server

Best for: Agencies and teams running many LinkedIn senders that want Claude to manage campaigns and answer replies.

HeyReach's MCP server sits on its LinkedIn automation app, which gives each account a static residential proxy and freezes an account at 200 actions a day. HeyReach says the server launches campaigns, drafts messages, reports on performance and acts on warm leads. Its API, which the tools draw on, adds leads to lists and campaigns, starts and pauses campaigns, and reads and answers the inbox; it has no LinkedIn people search. You connect with a workspace URL that carries the MCP key, and the server comes with every plan.

Strengths

  • One static residential proxy per account, never shared, and an automatic freeze near the weekly invite limit.
  • The MCP server, API and webhooks come with every plan, from one sender up to 300.

Watch out for

  • The MCP key sits inside the connection URL, so the URL itself must be kept secret.
  • No people search in its API: leads come from lists you import, and HeyReach sends no email.
Starts at
Growth $79 per sender a month ($63 yearly); Agency $999 for 25 senders
Pick it if
You already run LinkedIn campaigns on many senders and want Claude to manage them and the inbox.
Pick something else if
You want the agent to search LinkedIn for prospects, or email steps in the same tool.

3.Unipile LinkedIn API provider with a hosted MCP server

Best for: Developers building a LinkedIn feature with a coding agent, who want search, messaging and invites behind one key.

Unipile exposes 119 LinkedIn operations through a hosted MCP server built for coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex and Cursor. It covers people, company, post and job search, Sales Navigator and Recruiter search on the user's seat, profiles, invites, messages, InMail and posting. Each user links LinkedIn through Unipile's hosted sign-in, and Unipile holds the session. Unipile says the server does not lift LinkedIn's rules or promise volume, and tells builders to treat a rate limit as a stop and trigger sends from user actions, not loops.

Strengths

  • The widest action set here, including Sales Navigator and Recruiter search on the connected seat.
  • Low cost per account at volume, with no fee per message or request.

Watch out for

  • Built for developers: the MCP server helps an agent write code against Unipile, so a sales team needs an app on top.
  • Unipile leaves sending limits to you, and its proxy handling is not described.
Starts at
€49 a month for up to 10 accounts, then €5 per account; 7-day free trial
Pick it if
You are building your own LinkedIn tool and want one API and MCP server for search and messaging.
Pick something else if
Your sales reps want to prospect from Claude today without writing code.

4.Linked API Cloud-browser LinkedIn API with an MCP server

Best for: Individual reps and small teams that want Claude to search, read and message on LinkedIn from one account each.

Linked API runs each LinkedIn account in its own cloud browser and exposes it through an MCP server at mcp.linkedapi.io. Its tools search people and companies, read profiles, the feed and the inbox, send messages and connection requests, react, comment and post; Sales Navigator search and messages come on the Plus plan. Linked API says it keeps a stable residential IP from your region, acts at a human pace, and stops at the caps you set for each action type. It calls itself an unofficial LinkedIn MCP server.

Strengths

  • Ready-made tools for search, messages, invites and comments, with caps you set per action type.
  • Works in Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex and Cursor, and the MCP source is on GitHub.

Watch out for

  • Its tokens go into the MCP URL as query parameters, one identification token per account.
  • Its safety page does not mention LinkedIn's terms or say that risk remains.
Starts at
Core €69 a seat a month (€49 yearly); Plus with Sales Navigator €99 (€74 yearly)
Pick it if
You want Claude to search and message on LinkedIn directly, one account at a time, without building an app.
Pick something else if
You want campaigns that run on a schedule with email steps, or a CRM behind the outreach.

5.linkedin-mcp-server Open-source LinkedIn MCP server

Best for: Technical users who want a free server on their own machine to read LinkedIn and send the odd message from Claude.

stickerdaniel/linkedin-mcp-server is the most-starred open-source option, with about 3,900 GitHub stars under the Apache-2.0 license. It drives a browser on your machine with your own LinkedIn session, signed in once or imported from your browser's cookies. Its tools search people, companies, jobs and posts, read profiles, company pages, the feed and the inbox, send a message after confirmation and send connection requests. Its FAQ says LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits automated access, accounts can be restricted or banned, and there is no guarantee of account safety.

Strengths

  • Free and open source, installed with uvx, Docker or a Claude Desktop bundle.
  • Sends a message only after confirmation, and states the account risk plainly.

Watch out for

  • Runs on your computer with your own session, so it stops when the machine does and scales to one account.
  • Marked for personal use only, with no warranty, and LinkedIn page changes can break it.
Starts at
Free, open source (Apache-2.0)
Pick it if
You want a free server for your own account and accept running it, and the risk, yourself.
Pick something else if
You need it for a team, on a schedule, or with someone accountable for keeping it working.

6.Composio Integration platform with a LinkedIn toolkit

Best for: Teams that want Claude to draft and publish LinkedIn posts and comments through LinkedIn's own sign-in.

Composio's LinkedIn toolkit gives an agent 25 tools over OAuth, served through Composio's hosted MCP server. The tools create, comment on and delete posts, read your own profile, company info and page statistics, and list reactions. It has no people search and no messaging: the person tool needs an ID you already have. Composio's managed sign-in requests LinkedIn's posting permission, and its shared OAuth app has strict rate limits, so Composio recommends your own LinkedIn app for production.

Strengths

  • Signs in through LinkedIn's own OAuth, with posting scopes such as w_member_social.
  • A free tier with 100,000 tool calls a month covers light use.

Watch out for

  • No people search and no messaging, so it cannot prospect or send outreach.
  • The shared OAuth app hits rate limits; production use needs your own LinkedIn app.
Starts at
Free Hobby plan with 100,000 tool calls a month; Pro from $29 a month
Pick it if
You want an agent to publish posts and comments as you or your company page.
Pick something else if
You want to find prospects or send invites and messages.

7.Apify Scraping platform with a LinkedIn MCP server

Best for: Researchers who want Claude to pull profile data, emails and company details for a list of LinkedIn URLs.

Apify's LinkedIn MCP server connects an agent to a profile scraper on Apify's platform. You pass LinkedIn profile URLs and get back profiles, work history, company details and, where found, emails and mobile numbers. It needs no LinkedIn cookies or login, only an Apify account, through OAuth at mcp.apify.com or an API token. It reads only: it sends no messages or invites. The listing makes no statement about LinkedIn's terms, which prohibit scraping profiles.

Strengths

  • Uses no LinkedIn account of yours, so nothing runs on a sender's profile.
  • Priced per result, with a few dollars of free usage each month.

Watch out for

  • Reads only: it cannot send messages, invites or InMail.
  • Scraping profiles is what LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits, and the listing does not address it.
Starts at
Profile scraper $10 per 1,000 profiles; free plan includes $5 of usage a month
Pick it if
You want profile data and emails for a list of LinkedIn URLs, read into Claude.
Pick something else if
You want the agent to contact prospects on LinkedIn.

LinkedIn MCP servers FAQ

Does LinkedIn have an official MCP server?

No. LinkedIn publishes no MCP server for Claude. Its API opens sign-in and Share on LinkedIn, which posts, comments and likes as a member, to every developer; Sales Navigator, marketing and talent data need partner approval, and there is no open messaging permission. Every server that searches people or sends messages works through a session, a browser or a scraper instead, and all of them are third-party.

Can a LinkedIn MCP server get my account restricted?

Yes. LinkedIn's User Agreement prohibits bots, scraping and automated methods that add contacts, and its help center says members who use such tools risk having accounts restricted or shut down. No server removes that risk. Vendors lower it in different ways: HeyReach freezes an account at 200 actions a day, Linked API stops at caps you set, OXYGEN applies daily and weekly limits and asks before a sequence sends, and stickerdaniel's server confirms before a message.

Can my sales team use Claude to find prospects and draft LinkedIn messages?

Yes, with the right server. OXYGEN finds leads through data providers and LinkedIn signals, drafts messages and enrolls leads into a sequence that starts only after an approval. Linked API and Unipile search LinkedIn directly and send messages, Linked API as ready tools in Claude and Unipile for developers. HeyReach manages campaigns but has no people search, and Composio and Apify cannot send messages.

How do I connect LinkedIn to Claude?

Add the vendor's MCP URL in Claude under Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, then sign in or paste the key. OXYGEN connects with OAuth at oxygen-agent.com/mcp; HeyReach gives each workspace a URL with its key inside; Linked API puts two tokens in its URL. In Claude Code, use claude mcp add. A self-run server such as stickerdaniel's installs on your machine with uvx or as a Claude Desktop bundle.

Is an official-API LinkedIn MCP server less risky?

It stays inside what LinkedIn's API allows, which lowers the risk, but that is little for sales. LinkedIn's open permissions cover sign-in and posting, so Composio and Zapier can publish posts and comments and read your own profile, but cannot search people or send messages. LinkedIn's API terms also forbid using the APIs to automate posting or to generate mass messages, so even posting has rules.

Hosted or self-run: which is better for a sales team?

A hosted server runs in the vendor's cloud, keeps working when laptops close and serves several reps; OXYGEN, HeyReach, Unipile, Linked API, Composio and Apify are hosted. A self-run server such as stickerdaniel's is free, but it runs on one machine with one person's session, stops when the machine does, and nobody is accountable when LinkedIn changes its pages. For a team, hosted is easier to run and to audit.

What does a LinkedIn MCP server cost?

Most charge per LinkedIn account. HeyReach Growth is $79 a sender a month, Linked API Core €69 a seat (€49 yearly), and Unipile €49 a month for up to 10 accounts. Composio's free tier covers 100,000 tool calls a month, Apify charges $10 per 1,000 profiles, and the open-source server is free. OXYGEN charges $34 a month per account on plans from $49.
