Find marketing owners
Find heads of marketing by channel mix and team size
Below a hundred people the head of marketing usually is the marketing department. What they run is written on their own website, in the scripts the page quietly loads.
Marketing is the function whose stack is public. Analytics, tag managers, chat widgets, automation scripts, and consent banners all load in the browser, and each one is a decision somebody made and now maintains. That decision qualifies the account, and it sits on the domain rather than in a job title.
Pair it with how many people sit in the function. A three person team and a thirty person team buy differently even when the door reads the same. BuiltWith supplies the stack from the domain, People Data Labs supplies the org shape, and the contact column runs only on rows that survived both.
Example searches
Ask for it the way you'd say it
Every search below runs on the same hosted Tables, with the cost previewed before anything is spent.
Read the stack off the page
find companies whose website loads a marketing automation script and get the marketing lead
Each detected tool becomes its own column, so a filter can require one, exclude another, and still leave the row in the table.
The only marketer
give me companies under eighty people where exactly one person holds a marketing title
Being the whole department is a qualifier in itself, and it changes the opening line far more than the company's industry does.
Re-check a stale account
which accounts in my table changed their website tooling since i last looked
Re-running detection writes a fresh value with its own timestamp while the previous answer stays readable in the cell history.
Plays
Three motions you can run this week
Each one is a chain of Oxygen primitives — the same hosted objects your workspace already has, composed.
Stack-qualified marketing list
Accounts already running the category you attach to, with the owner resolved on the row.
- 1Detect the site stack across the account table and keep each tool as a column.
- 2Filter to the combination you serve, resolve the marketing owner, and enroll.
oxygen companies enrich runWrite to the department of one
A cadence aimed at the solo marketer, who reads and decides the same afternoon.
- 1Save a view of the accounts where exactly one person holds a marketing title.
- 2Enroll that view with an opening about scope rather than about features.
oxygen tables views createRe-detect before the campaign runs
Nobody gets a message built on a stack reading that is three months out of date.
- 1Point a workflow at the slice you are about to write to and re-run detection on it first.
- 2Enroll only the rows whose tooling still matches, and hold the ones that changed for a second look.

Who you can reach
Roles you can find at heads of marketing
Reachability is per channel: a role marked for mobile is one the phone waterfall usually resolves, not a guarantee for every record.
| Role | Seniority | Reachable by |
|---|---|---|
| Head of Marketing | Director | Work emailLinkedIn |
| VP of Marketing | VP | Work emailLinkedIn |
| Marketing Manager | Manager | Work email |
| Demand Generation Lead | Manager | Work emailLinkedIn |
| Product Marketing Lead | Manager | Work emailLinkedIn |

Filters you can search on
- Analytics or tag manager detected on the domain
- Marketing automation or chat tooling in use
- CMS and website platform
- People holding a marketing title
- Headcount band and funding stage
- Country and primary language of the site
- Seniority: VP, Director, or Manager
Detection reads what a browser loads, so anything proxied, server rendered, or behind a consent wall stays invisible. A negative result means not detected, never absent. Small companies swap tools quickly too, so re-run the column before a campaign instead of trusting a value from three months ago.
Data sources
What the data actually comes from
Every value lands with its provider and cost recorded on the cell.

BuiltWith
Technology detected on the company domain, which is where a marketing stack is visible from outside.

People Data Labs
Company and person records for sizing the marketing function and resolving who leads it.

Apollo
Your own Apollo account as the second people source, handy when the marketing segment was curated there first.
LinkedIn Scraper
Profile reads that check tenure, because the person who installed the tag is often not the person who owns it now.

Blitz API
Reads the LinkedIn company record beside the detected stack, and takes the first attempt at the marketing owner's address.
Run these on Oxygen's managed credits, or connect your own provider keys and pay the vendor directly — the same columns, the same runs, the same provenance either way. See every integration.
Limits
Where this stops
- Stack detection proves a tool is present, not who owns it. At a small company the person maintaining that tag may be a contractor who finished the project and left.
- Marketing titles inflate. Head of Marketing at a ten person company and at a four hundred person company are different buyers even though the string matches.
