Find sales leaders
Find heads of sales by team size, region, and hiring signal
The size of the team under a sales leader tells you more than the title above them. Five reps and two reps are different buyers, and the count is visible long before you write anything.
A sales org is countable. How many account executives, SDRs, and frontline managers sit at a company qualifies it better than headcount or funding, because it maps straight onto whether your product has anyone to sit under it. Count the team, then walk up to whoever owns the number.
Direction matters as much as size. A team that added three reps since last quarter is staffing up and buying tooling; one that shrank is doing the opposite. Both read off the same person records, and the count becomes a column you sort on instead of something you squint at.
Example searches
Ask for it the way you'd say it
Every search below runs on the same hosted Tables, with the cost previewed before anything is spent.
Rep count as qualifier
find saas companies with between 5 and 20 account executives and give me their sales lead
The count lands as its own column, so you can move the band up or down and re-sort without paying for the people work twice.
Teams that are growing
which companies in my table added sales headcount over the last two quarters
The comparison runs against values already stored on each row, so the growth flag costs nothing beyond enrichment you have already run.
Coverage by region
give me the sales leader for every account here that has reps based in europe
Region comes from where the reps sit rather than the company address, which is the difference between a target and a wrong timezone.
Plays
Three motions you can run this week
Each one is a chain of Oxygen primitives — the same hosted objects your workspace already has, composed.
Size the team before you write
A short list where every account has enough reps for your product to matter.
- 1Resolve the selling team at each account and store the count as a column.
- 2Keep the band that fits your price, resolve the leader, and enroll from the table.
oxygen people search runOnly the teams that are growing
Outreach aimed at leaders adding reps rather than defending a number.
- 1Compare this quarter's rep count against the stored value, then promote the risers onto their company records.
- 2Tag those records as a growing team and enroll them on a cadence that opens on the hiring.
oxygen crm tagLeader plus one rep
Two threads into the same account, each written for the person reading it.
- 1Resolve both the sales leader and one senior rep onto separate rows.
- 2Enroll them on staggered days from one sender and watch both replies land together.

Who you can reach
Roles you can find at heads of sales and CROs
Reachability is per channel: a role marked for mobile is one the phone waterfall usually resolves, not a guarantee for every record.
| Role | Seniority | Reachable by |
|---|---|---|
| VP of Sales | VP | Work emailLinkedIn |
| Chief Revenue Officer | C-level | Work emailLinkedInMobile |
| Head of Sales | Director | Work emailLinkedIn |

Filters you can search on
- Account executives on record at the company
- SDRs or BDRs on record
- Sales headcount now, and its change once the column has run on a cadence
- Regions the selling team actually sits in
- Headcount band and funding stage
- Industry and sales motion
- Seniority: C-level, VP, or Director
Counting a sales team relies on people keeping public profiles current, which they mostly do and sometimes do not. Expect the number to be roughly right and about a quarter behind. Dependable enough to sort a list, too soft to quote back to a prospect, so keep it out of your opening line.
Data sources
What the data actually comes from
Every value lands with its provider and cost recorded on the cell.

People Data Labs
Person records at scale, which is what makes counting the reps at an account possible.

Apollo
Where a sales-leader segment is already maintained in your own Apollo account, it comes in as a second source.
LinkedIn Scraper
Profile reads that confirm a leader is still carrying the number, on a role that turns over on a short cycle.

Blitz API
First swing at the sales leader's work email, plus the LinkedIn company read the rep count is assembled against.
LeadMagic
The lane that runs after the first comes back empty, on rows where the rep count says the account earns it.
Run these on Oxygen's managed credits, or connect your own provider keys and pay the vendor directly — the same columns, the same runs, the same provenance either way. See every integration.
Limits
Where this stops
- Rep counting works where a company's people keep public profiles. In markets where they do not, the count reads low, so fall back to headcount bands rather than trusting the zero.
- A title alone never tells you who owns the number. Sometimes it is the CRO, sometimes the founder, and the table reports what it found rather than deciding for you.
