Competitive intel

Read the ads your competitors are actually running

Your competitors publish their positioning every day and pay to distribute it. Ad libraries are the least guarded source in B2B, and here the reads land as rows you can sort, tag, and quote.

try

A competitor's ad library is a running transcript of what they believe their buyer cares about this quarter: the headline they keep paying for, the proof they lead with, the objection they answer first. Reading it by hand across four networks is an afternoon. Reading it as rows is a column you can rerun.

The read is an ordinary provider call under the usual gates. A dry run shows what the request will do, a cap bounds the spend, and the response lands as inspectable rows with advertiser, creative, run dates, and media per network. Nothing is bought, published, or activated from this page.

Example searches

Ask for it the way you'd say it

Every search below runs on the same hosted Tables, with the cost previewed before anything is spent.

  • One competitor, every network

list the ads competitor.com is running on linkedin, meta and google with their start dates

Creatives return per network with advertiser, run dates, and media, ready to promote onto the competitor's record.

  • Find the angle they repeat

group this competitor's ads by headline and tell me which offer they keep buying

An AI column reads creatives already in the table, so the summary cites rows instead of a model's memory.

  • Watch a category, not a company

check my six closest competitors once a week and flag any creative we have not seen

A scheduled run refills the same table, and each delivery carries the credit ceiling you approved when arming it.

Plays

Three motions you can run this week

Each one is a chain of Oxygen primitives — the same hosted objects your workspace already has, composed.

  • Build the competitor board

One table holds every creative your closest competitors are currently running, per network.

    1. 1Find the ad operation in the capability catalog and inspect its schema before running.
    2. 2Run it dry, read the estimate, then write results into a table keyed by advertiser.

  • Turn creatives into positioning

The pattern across a quarter of competitor spend becomes a cited page instead of a hunch.

    1. 1Add an AI column that summarizes offer, angle, and proof for each creative row.
    2. 2File the synthesis as a wiki page so every later draft is grounded in it.

  • Watch the category on a cadence

Refreshed creatives for the advertisers you already track land on a cadence rather than when somebody remembers to look.

    1. 1Schedule the ad-library column to refresh on a cadence, with an explicit per-delivery credit ceiling.
    2. 2Each run re-reads the advertisers already in the table, so adding a new competitor stays a row you write yourself.

Capabilities

What you get

  • Creatives as rows, not screenshots

Advertiser, creative, run dates, media, and network arrive as typed cells with provenance, which is what makes them sortable, taggable, and quotable later.

  • A dry run before any spend

Every read previews first. You see the request shape and the estimate, approve a ceiling, and only then does a provider call happen against your balance.

  • Context around the campaign

Web search and page extraction sit next to the library read, so the landing page an ad points at can be pulled alongside the creative that sells it.

  • Findings that outlive the tab

Synthesis files into the workspace wiki as a cited page, so the next message draft and the next AI column read your competitive view rather than guessing at it.

Boundaries

What Ads does not own

This is the Ads primitive doing read-only intelligence. There is no campaign authoring, no audience activation, and no spend readback yet. Anything you decide to publish yourself is a Posts artifact delivered by Publishing, and the competitor itself lives as a Records object.

Data sources

What the data actually comes from

Every value lands with its provider and cost recorded on the cell.

  • Adyntel

The ad-library read itself, covering advertisers across the major paid networks that publish a public library.

  • Exa

Neural web search for the context around a campaign: the launch, the pricing change, or the hire that explains it.

  • Firecrawl

Pulls the landing page an ad points at, so the offer and the creative can be read together in one row.

  • Br

    Bright Data

Scraping infrastructure for public pages a library read does not cover on its own.

Run these on Oxygen's managed credits, or connect your own provider keys and pay the vendor directly — the same columns, the same runs, the same provenance either way. See every integration.

Limits

Where this stops

  • The read side is one provider deep and only covers networks that publish a library. A competitor advertising elsewhere simply will not appear, and an empty result is not evidence that nobody is spending.
  • There is no audience activation here. You cannot push a segment from your records to an ad platform today; this page is intelligence, and the activation half is a stated bet rather than a shipped claim.

FAQ

Questions people ask first

Is there a dedicated ads command yet?
Not today, and the gap is worth stating plainly. The read runs through the capability catalog: you search the operation, inspect its schema, and run it dry before spending. A thin ads command group is the planned parity slice.
What does one read cost?
It is a metered provider call, so the dry run gives you the estimate and the ceiling before anything is charged. Searching the catalog, inspecting a schema, and planning cost nothing at all.
Can I activate audiences from my CRM?
No. Audience definitions and campaign pushes are a designed direction rather than a shipped feature, and this set of pages does not promise them. What ships today is the read side.
How do I keep the board current?
Arm a scheduled refresh on the ad-library column with an approved per-delivery ceiling. Each run re-reads the advertisers already in the table and updates their creatives, so widening the board to a new competitor is still a row you add.
Where should the findings actually live?
In the workspace wiki as a cited page, not in a slide nobody opens. Pages written there ground later message drafts and AI columns automatically, with the revision that grounded each output recorded.
Can I link creatives to my account list?
Yes. Rows keyed by advertiser domain promote onto company records, so a competitor's campaign history sits on the same object your pipeline and signals already hang from.
